With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Preston Williamson of Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on September 23, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Williamson, Sr. of Washington and Ellen Stephens Williamson; his wife Thelma Daye Williamson; and his siblings, George Williamson Jr. of Washington, James Williamson, Roy Williamson, Carter Williamson, Sally Williamson and Alice W. Pleasant.

He is survived by: his children, Shirley W. Gray (Vann Brown), Diane Williamson, Jeanette Williamson, Theodore Nick Williamson and Preston Wayne "Junior" Williamson; his brother Briston Williamson; and his sister-in-law Willie Mae Daye. He is also survived by great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
