We are sad to announce that, on October 18, 2024, at the age of 94, Rachel Cook Garrison Morrah (Burlington, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Ernest Garrison and Ruby Loy Garrison; her husband Samuel Patrick Morrah III; and her siblings, Rebecca G. McAdams and Robert E. Garrison.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine M. Carl (Clyde) of Raleigh, Cynthia M. Yancey (Jeff) of Durham, Jennifer M. Mauch of Burlington and Elizabeth M. Angell (Chris) of Cary; her grandchildren, Sam Yancey, Todd Yancey, Alex Carl, Ben Carl, Caroline Mauch Carlson, Christopher Mauch, Kristen Angell and William Angell; and her sister-in-law Bonnie W. Morrah of Greensboro. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Front Street United Methodist Church with special designations to Methodist Home for Children, 136 S. Fisher Street, Burlington, NC 27215.
