She was predeceased by: her spouse Cleland Ross Stainback; her parents, William Prescott McKinney and Sadie Walker McKinney; her sons, Ross Michael Stainback and Cleland Eric Stainback; and her siblings, Evelyn McKinney, Aileen Talbert, Betty Pitman, Eleanor Shumate, Walker McKinney and Jimmy McKinney.

She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda S. Firth (Bill); her daughter-in-law Cathy Johnson (Chris); her grandchildren, Tim Cozart (Jamie), Jennifer Kenyon (Cliff), Angie Wilson (Steve), Alan Michael Stainback (Laura), Katie Stainback and Abbie Stainback; her great grandchildren, Presley Cozart, Avery Cozart, Vivian Kenyon, Levi Wilson and Briar Stainback; her stepgrandchildren, Karen Simpson (Shawn) and Michael Firth (Christine); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jordan Hauser (Matt) and Hunter Simpson; her grandson Stetson Shawn Hauser; and her sisters, Carolyn Pattillo of Caswell County and Pat Carter of Reidsville.
