He was predeceased by: his parents, Finley Ralph McPherson and Flora Allen McPherson; and his siblings, Norman C. McPherson, Donald M. McPherson and Linda McPherson.
He is survived by: his wife Chloe Dean McPherson; his sibling's children, Earl McPherson, Lynn McPherson, Keith McPherson (Lois) and Jeanette M. Brockington (John); and his nephews-in-law, Ryan M. Bowland (Heather) and Cameron D. Bowland.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Saint Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery (2719 Bellemont-Alamance Rd, Burlington, NC 27215).
