It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Southard Mann of Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on December 23, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lee and Mable Francis McIntyre Southard; her spouse H. W. Mann; her son Roger Mann; and her sisters, Dare Kernodle and Betty Walker.

She is survived by: her sons, Gary Mann (Carolyn) of Conover and Michael Mann (Dianne) of Burlington; her grandchildren, Tonya Mann (Debra Welch), Gary Mann, Jr. (Wendy), Dodi Beamon (Michael), Bridgette Rose (Johnathan), Mitchell Mann (Jennifer) and Michelle Mann; her great grandchildren, Noah Mann, Jadyn Mann, Oliva Rose, Nathan Rose, Piper Beamon, Quinn Beamon, Maddux Mann and Londyn Mann; and her sisters, Edna Southard McClure of Burlington, Glenda Gillispie of Burlington and Bonnie Alcon of New Bern. She is also survived by mother to her sons and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
