We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2023, at the age of 79, Richard Auman of Burlington, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Auman to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Wilson Auman and Hazel Scott Auman; and his siblings, Doris Ragsdale, Ruby Owenby and David Auman.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Wright Auman; his children, Myra Auman Asheboro (Ken Rubel), Robbie Auman (Wilma Britt) of Asheboro and Ryan Auman of Asheboro; his stepchildren, Jennifer Smith Byrd (Tommy) of Mebane, Julie Smith Blalock (Todd) of Mebane and Jesse Todd Smith (Crystal) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Karen Havens, Justin Morris (Brandi), Nicholas Tysor, Dylan Hawkins (Lauren Anderson), Taylor Byrd, Mackenzie Smith, Bailey Blalock and Harmony Smith; and his sister Betsy Mosteller of High Point. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Caleb Club or Missions Fund at Bethel Baptist Church, 238 Dixon Road, Graham, NC 27253.
