It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Lee Hunter (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on February 8, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Roy and Elsie McCormick Hunter; his sons, Brandon Hunter and Marty Hunter; his grandchild Kelly Hunter; and his sisters, Nadine King and Pat Cannady.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Faucette Hunter; his children, Jeannie Collins (Jeff), Rick Hunter (Sarah) and Cheryl Hunter; his grandchildren, Trinity Carodenuto (Joy), Michelle Whitfield (Chad), Brandon Collins and Erin Melton (Tripp); and his brother Tommy Dawson. He is also survived by three great grandchildren; special nephew.
