He was predeceased by: his father Cedrick Lester Gover; and his siblings, Charlie Gover, Jimmie Gover and Meldine Abernathy. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Allen Gover; his son Mike Gover (Valerie) of Burlington; his stepgrandson Wesley Harris (Ashlee); his daughter Val Smith (Ted) of Durham; his granddaughters, Emily Smith and Mary Margaret Smith Martin (Drew); and his great grandchildren, Evy Martin and Luke Martin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
