He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton James "A. J." Shropshire and Myrtle Shropshire; and his sister Sue Crouse. He is survived by: his wife Sybil Foster Shropshire; his brother Jim Shropshire; his nephews, Mark Crouse (Fabiana), Steve Crouse (Elizabeth), Mike Shropshire (Charline), Chris Shropshire (Deana) and Wesley Page; and his sister-in-law Patricia Foster.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Union Ridge Church (115 Altamahaw Union Ridge Rd, Burlington, NC 27217). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
