He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edmund Thomas Oakley, Sr. and Nell Cox Presnell Oakley of Burlington; his brother Edmund Thomas Oakley, Jr. (Cathy); his nieces and nephews, Nikki Oakley Wright (Jeff), Michelle McNaught (Chris), Shawn Smith (Jamie), Stephen Oakley, Bryan Oakley (Jessica) and Robbie Boone; and his close friends, Mark Wilson and Ronna Bishop.
