It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky Whitesell (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on May 20, 2022, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his nephew Chris Clapp; his grandparents, Brice, Annie Mae Whitesell, Charles and Edna Ingle Blythe; and his parents-in-law, Delmer and Edna Phillips Greeson.
He is survived by: his parents, Cecil Whitesell and Sandra B. Whitesell; his wife Lisa Greeson Whitesell; his children, Jacob Richard Whitesell and Megan Nicole Whitesell (Tommy Faucette); his siblings, Rodney Whitesell (Carmen) and Tracy Whitesell; his sister-in-law Debbie Mabe (Barney); his nephew Ryan Whitesell; his nieces, Sabrina Welch (Jamie), Cassie Whitesell, Kaitlyn and Kelsey York; and his close friend Trey Richmond. He is also survived by three great nieces, a great nephew, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.
