He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl Loy, Sr. and Ida Holt Loy; his wife Pauline Wade Loy; his brothers, James Harold Loy (Monte), Dewitt Talmadge Loy (Doris), Warren Harding Loy (Musette), Donald Alexander Loy (Gladys) and Wade Columbus Loy (Millie); and his brother-in-law Ted Combs.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Loy, Sr. (Bonnie), Michael Loy (Sandra) and Teresa Farrell (Roscoe); his grandchildren, Steven Loy, Jr. (Christie), Erin Duckworth (Steven), Heather Arico (Brian), Brittany Melville (Sean), Jacquelyn Loy, Megan Saulsbury (Cory) and Cody Farrell (Liv); and his sister Elizabeth Loy Combs. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
