It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger Lee Stanfield (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chalmer Stanfield and Nettie Lou Ellison Stanfield; and his siblings, Otha Stanfield, Clara Stanfield Griffis, Katleen S. Dodd, Ruthie Mae Clark and Jennie L. Shaw.

He is survived by: his wife Sarah S. Stanfield; his daughter Robin Michelle Stanfield; his grandson Nicholas Jalen Lea; and his siblings, Eugene "Bo" Stanfield, Artis Stanfield (Sharon) and Dorothy DeBerry. He is also survived by relatives, family and friends.

He would become a great supporter of Aggie Athletics and served as Vice-President of the Aggie Athletic Foundation.
