He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Roosevelt Smith and Betty Soots Smith; his sister Connie Gail Flynn; and his daughter Daisy Arietta. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Lee Smith; his son Allen Michael Smith (Hunter); his stepdaughters, Jennifer Street (Josh) and Brandi Simmons (Lee); his grandchildren, Bryson, Kyleigh and Lawson; his stepgrandchildren, Makayla, Avery, Makenzie, Karsen and Olivia; his siblings, JT Smith (Cindy), David Smith (Janice) and Penny Campbell (Al); his daughter Danielle Smith; and his pet Bella.
