He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ritter and Beulah Ritter; and his siblings, Harold Lee Ritter, William "Bill" Ritter, Diann Strunk and Martha Emery.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Ritter; his children, Beverly Goodrich (James), Laurel Ritter, Marilyn Lindsay (Peter), Jenny Ireland (Steve) and Timothy Ritter; his brothers, Sheldon Ritter and Michael Ritter; and his son James Ritter. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
