Childress; and his children, JoAnn Marie Agnew (Charlie) of Snow Camp, Wendy Ann Flowers (J. R.) of Asheboro, Penny Childress Ward (Bill) of Elon and Michael Wayne Childress (Karla) of Hillsborough. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
