It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Garrison Oakley (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on December 21, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lacy Lee Garrison and Bertha Saunders Garrison; her husband Howard Thomas Oakley; and her siblings, Mozelle Beckom (Nellie Kraemer), Odell, Aubrey and Raymond (Vernon Garrison).

She is survived by: her son Frank; her daughter-in-law Michele Oakley of Rogers, AR; her granddaughter Kendyll Murray (Tom) of Rogers, AR; and her sister Jean Gray Weathers of Lakeland, Florida..
