She was predeceased by: her spouse W. J. "Junior" McCann, Jr.; her parents, Elijah Floyd and Eva Moore Smith; and her siblings, Bill, Fred, Frank, Jack Smith and Mary S. Surber.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy (Johnny Hopkins) of Burlington and Jimmy McCann (Rhonda) of Mebane; her grandsons, Jared McCann (Katie) and Kirby Sullivan (Louis); her great grandchildren, Cole Sullivan, Jamie McCann, Macie McCann, Cameron Sullivan and Walker Sullivan; and her brother Howard Smith of Burlington.
