She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Cheek Elder and Walter Clifton Elder; her husband Tom of Cape Cod, Massachusetts.; and her sister Lucy Gail. She is survived by: her sister Cliffie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Burlington (508 W Davis St, Burlington, NC 27215).
