She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Milton Graham Spann, Sr. and Sara Margaret Chalmers; her siblings, Milton and Martha Spann of Burlington; her nephews, Graham Spann (Shelly) of New Bern, Scott Peters (April) of Wilmington and Trent Peters (Samantha) of Winston-Salem; her cousin Karyn Elrod of Piedmont, SC; and her close friend Lisa Powers of Summerfield, NC..
