It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shannon Pugh Moorefield (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Howard A. Pugh. She is survived by : her husband Jason Moorefield; her daughter Madison Faith Moorefield (Dylan Chase Moorefield); her mother Terry C. Pugh of Burlington; her siblings, Shelley May Royer (Kenneth James Royer) of Gibsonville and Darrick Scott Pugh (Carmen Marie Pugh) of Burlington; her aunts, Vicki Waters of Burlington, Ja Ja Smallwood (Kenny) of Burlington, Melba Ginsberg of Florida and Ruby Blackburn of Texas; her uncle Bo Bryan (Lynne) of Durham; her nieces and nephews, Kristen, Corinne, Rachel, Willow, Addie, Zoe, Jansen, Ryan, Matthew, Tyler "Bobo", Alec, Julian, Harrison, Connor, Jayce, Gunner and Hunter; and her pet Meowghi.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Friendly Lane Baptist Church (1122 Vaughn Rd, Burlington, NC 27217).
