It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Lassiter Huffman of Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on April 15, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma Lassiter and Blake Lassiter; her husband Stan Huffman; and her siblings, Max Lassiter, Sylvia Woody, Sue Wood and Linda Waddell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Moore (Everette) of Raleigh and Lesley Hubbard (Will) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Cam Huffman (Kaarin) of Durham, Alex Moore (Ashlin), Max Huffman, Ellen Troxler, Annabel Troxler, Zoë Huffman, Lucy Hubbard and Kate Hubbard; her great grandchild Reese Moore; and her sister Ruth Stewart of Glen Allen, VA.. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Burlington Furniture Ministry or Heartland Hospice of Raleigh, NC.
