She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Elby Morris and Ivey Shaw Morris; her husband Raymond Conrad "Connie" Thiel; her son Gary Lee Thiel; and her siblings, Joy Thomas, Lottie Martin Magers, Delois Hall, Ervin Morris and Norman Morris. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
