It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Pruitt Williams of Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Haywood "Sam" Odom Williams; her parents, Ernest Lamont and Nellie Cathey Pruitt; and her siblings, Francis Thompson, Roberta Lail and James Pruitt.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Williams King (Wayne) and Rickey Lamont Williams (Sue); her grandchildren, Michael King, Christy Riley (Scott) and Blake Williams (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Nolan Riley, Dakota Riley, Luke Williams and Ella Williams; and her sisters, Cathy Williams and Brenda Baird.
