She is survived by: her husband Marshall "Smokey" Sheppard, Jr.; her sisters, Cindy Brantley (Barry) of Durham and Margo Roberts of Graham; and her cousin Carrie Davis (Hugh) of Burlington. She is also survived by niece and several nephews.
