With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sylvia Miller Hoffner (Burlington, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Baxter Phillip Miller and Gladys Goodnight Miller. She is survived by: her children, Paul "Rocky" Hoffner, Jr. (Cindi), Saundra Magee (Rick), Stephanie Chen and Christopher Hoffner; her grandchildren, Jennifer Perkins (Keith), Jack Magee (Liz), Melissa Johnson (David), Allison Woodward (Alex), Joshua Chen (Jessica), Anna Magee, Elliot Chen, Amelia Borger (Artie) and Isaac Hoffner; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Perkins, Paul Perkins, Hannah Johnson, Chelsea Johnson, Miller Magee, Reeder Magee, Teddy Magee, Eliza Magee, James Woodward and Layne Woodward; and her brother Phillip Miller (Joan).
