With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Edward Barnwell (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on August 9, 2022 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Edward Barnwell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Barnwell and Elizabeth Wade Barnwell; his sister Revonda Barnwell Mosher; and his sister-in-law Faye Barnwell. He is survived by: his wife Sue Jones Barnwell; his children, Michelle B. Mayton (Robbie), Christina B. Madden, Jessica B. Sneed (Len) and Richard A. Bruton (Johna); his siblings, Charles Holt Barnwell and Judith Caroline Barnwell; his brother-in-law Bill Mosher; and his nieces and nephews, Jack Russell Terrier and Pepper Grace. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
A visitation and celebration of Tommy's life will be held at Rich and Thompson Funeral Service in Burlington on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 10:00 a. m. until 12:00 p. m. Face masks are required.
