He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Vaughan Register; his parents, Clyde Register and Lessie Register; his siblings, Clyde Register, Jr., Mildred Daniel and Margaret Beck; his granddaughter Danielle Register; and his stepson Anderson Hostetler.
He is survived by: his wife Anne G. Hostetler of Raeford, NC; his children, Dr. Thomas E. Register, Jr. (Linda), Robert V. Register (Jan) and Mary Anne Folckomer (Ed); his sister Joyce Ashcraft; and his stepchildren, Henry Hostetler (Kathy) and Dorcas Douglas (Mark). He is also survived by eight step grandchildren; and three step great grandchildren.
