He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Satterfield Elder, Sr. and Betty Elder; and his brother Andy Elder. He is survived by: his son Tony Elder (Christy); his granddaughters, Pailyn and Savannah Elder; his cousin Kenneth Steele; and his close friend Debra McCusker.
