He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Lee Turner and Margaret Lee Turner. He is survived by: his wife Mary Wallace Turner; his children, Dwayne Turner (Kellie Capps), Melissa "Missy" Ray and Sammy Watkins; his grandchildren, Weston Ray, Tucker Ray and Cassie Turner; his siblings, Sandra King, Jamey Turner and Patricia Davis; and his pet Simba. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Glencoe Baptist Church (2556 Glencoe St, Burlington, NC 27217). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Alamance Memorial Park (4039 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215).
