She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward and Clara Wood Hughes of Durham; her sisters, Ellen Zigler, Cornelia Blackley, Nancy Blackley and Shirley Staples; and her pet Snuggles.
She is survived by: her children, LuAnn Rudolph (Neil), Wesley Massey (Kathy Bailey) and Jon Massey (Monica); her stepgrandchildren, Grant, Natalie, Harper, Cameron, Ryder, Colleen, Gavin and Lauren; and her sister Patricia Welty (Frank) of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
