He was predeceased by: his significant other Angelica Rubio of Lima Peru; and his grandson Joshua Dane Hughes of Elon, NC.. He is survived by: his children, Juanita (Steven) of Elon, NC and Edward Rubio of Tacoma, WA; his grandson Parker Rubio of Tacoma, WA; and his nieces and nephews, Kelly Sabell of Victoria, British Columbia, George Anderson of Calgary, Alberta and Elena Mejia of Lima Peru.
