With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera Ann Hackett Scott (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on March 31, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Solon Hackett and Elsie Lois Murray Hackett; her sister Vallie Keel; and her parents-in-law, William Otis Scott and Maggie Cook Scott.

She is survived by : her husband Leo Scott; her children, Stephanie Scott Davis (Brian) and Brian Jason Scott (Beth); her grandsons, Dylan Scott Davis and Braxton Garrett Scott; and her sister Vernett Zimmerman (Marshall). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
