He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his daughters, Vicki Edwards (Gordon) of Jacksonville, FL, Amy Gates (Del) of Gibsonville, NC and Amanda Baity-Chaiken (Eric) of Graham, NC.; his grandchildren, Samantha Gates Reese (James), Elizabeth Edwards, William Edwards, Thomas Edwards (Rachael), Aaron Gates, Andrew Gates, Elijah Chaiken and Jackson Chaiken; and his sister Wanda Lewis (Paul) of Mount Airy, NC.. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and cousins.
