It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vinnie Bethel of Burlington, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glennie Bethel and Maggie Gunn Bethel; and her siblings, James Bethel, Glennie Bethel, Jr. and Gladys Bethel Vaughn.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Walter Vaughn, Shelton Burnette, Jr., Marcus Burnette, Maggie Burnette, Barbara McDaniel and Sherrie Buie; her great-nieces, Toyia Vaughn Elstak and Monica Vaughn Nelson; and her godsons, Jesse Wade and Frankie Hayes. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
