She was predeceased by: her father Monroe H. Poole; her husband William R. Miles; her siblings, James William Vaughn and Clementine Poole; and her grandson Carrington Jermaine Miles.
She is survived by: her sons, Fredrick Poole, Roderick Miles and William J. Miles (Lori); and her siblings-in-law, Cynthia Vaughn, Patricia Barnes and Wilbert Miles (Wyonia). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
