He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Maurice and Lucille Cooke Bunting; his former wife Linda Forrest Bunting; and his sister Betsy Lou Bunting. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Lowe Bunting of Burlington; his sons, Christopher Wayne Bunting (Sheila) of Mt. Airy, NC and Gregory Forrest Bunting (Kimberly Wheat) of Greensboro, NC; and his grandchildren, Gilleyn Bunting and Nicholas Bunting.
