It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Cecil Sparrow of Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on June 12, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean Williams Sparrow; his parents, William Dewey Sparrow and Katie Webster Sparrow; and his brother Landon Sparrow. He is survived by: his children, Don Sparrow (Rosemary) of Emerald Isle and Carla Sparrow Lunsford (Craig) of Hurdle Mills; his grandchildren, Ben Sparrow (Sarah), Katy Sparrow (Laura) and Collin Lunsford; and his siblings, Roy Sparrow, Earl Sparrow and Kay Hunsucker. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
