He was predeceased by: his parents, Guillermo Cruz Hurtado and Carmen Burgos Rodriguez. He is survived by: his wife Maria Evelyn Hernandez Cruz; his children, Betsy Salinas (Angel), Daniel Cruz, Elizabeth Cruz, Debbie Cruz (Elias) and Adrian Cruz (Ghislaine Charbonier); his grandchildren, Moses Salinas, Damaris Graves-Cruz, Judah Graves, Aramia Graves-Cruz, Adrialys V., Christopher A., Anthony D., Adriana, Loraine and Ron U.; and his brother Ruperto Cruz Burgos. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
