He was predeceased by: his wives, Elizabeth Ann Johnson Bowman and Shelia Solomon Bowman; his parents, William Riley Bowman and Mae Russell Bowman; his son Gary Bowman; his brothers, Russell Bowman, Leo Bowman and Ted Bowman; and his children-in-law, Robin Bowman and Thomas Cheney.
He is survived by: his children, Clint Bowman (Kelly) and Jan Cheney; his grandchildren, Christy Staley, Daniel Bowman, Jason Bowman, Chad Bowman, Justin Cheney, Tonya Langley and Josh Cheney; and his siblings, Adele Ferguson and Gordon Bowman. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
