It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Stone Hindman of Burlington, North Carolina, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on May 29, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stone Hindman and Frances Mays Hindman; his wife Frances Elizabeth Johnson Hindman; and his brother Dr. Donald Lee Hindman. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Hindman Steele; his son-in-law Charles Thomas Steele, Jr.; his grandsons, William Thomas Steele, II (Elizabeth) and John Charles Steele; his brother Larry Mays Hindman (Diane); his sister-in-law Janice Hindman; and his caregiver Bill. He is also survived by niece and three nephews, and numerous cousins.
