He was predeceased by: his parents, Reubin Totten and Lucy Watlington Totten; his wife Mae Lois Totten; and his siblings, Donnell Totten, Reubin Totten, Thelma Totten and Annette West.
He is survived by: his son William Norris Totten, Jr.; his grandchildren, Ashley Morton and Hollie Totten; and his sister Helen Murrill of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
