He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willis Treece McLendon, Sr. and Vera Clark McLendon; his daughter Vickie McLendon (Wesley); his grandson Nathan McLendon; his sister Sharon Bason (Bob); and his nephews, Matt Bason (Ashley) and Derek Bason.
In lieu of flowers the family gratefully asks that memorials be made to the Burlington Animal Shelter.
