She is survived by: her husband Wilbert Miles; her children, Bonita Miles Pullen (Robert), Cassandra Miles Emeto (Remi) and Derrick Bernard Miles (Tina); her grandsons, Dr. Jwan Johnson, Remy Emeto and Michael Emeto; her great grandchild Autumn Baldwin Johnson; her siblings, Douglas Mebane (Vera) and Carrie Ann Turner (John, Jr.); and her sister-in-law Barbara Jean Mebane (Patricia Miles Barnes).
