The memory of Allie Stevens (Burnsville, North Carolina), who passed away on December 12, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Burdette Gortney and Eva Gortney (Beaver); her husband Floyd Stevens; her sister Ethel Gortney; and her daughter Wedie Robinson.
She is survived by: her brother Johnny Gortney of Newton, NC; her son-in-law Dale Robinson of Newdale; her grandson Buddy Robinson (Brandy) of Green Mountain; her great grandchildren, Alan, Chase and Colby; her sister-in-law Lois Blankenship of South Toe; and her nieces, Patricia Gortney of Green Mountain and Georgia Ann Gortney of Green Mountain. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Email (501 E Main St, Burnsville, NC 28714). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at the Stevens Family Cemetery (7784 Double Island Rd, Green Mountain, NC 28740).
