She was predeceased by: her parents, JC Edwards and Nell Higgins Edwards. She is survived by: her husband Jack Tipton; her son Joe Flinch; her siblings, Ed Edwards (Shannon) of Cleveland, NC and Vicky Tipton (Clifford) of Marion, NC; and her close friend Randy Chandler.
