With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobbie Blevins Mosley (Burnsville, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2025 at the age of 74. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Blevins and Zode Ollis Blevins; her husband Ben Mosley Jr.; her daughter Lorrie Mosley; her great grandchild Ellie Grace Newton; and her brother Douglas "Doug" Blevins.
She is survived by: her daughter Leslie Newton (Mark) of Bakersville; her grandchildren, Sarah Newton of Virginia and Seth Newton (Nicole) of Bakersville; her great grandchildren, Lydia Newton, Nicole Catherine Ely and Lucas Ray Ely; her siblings, Betty Blevins (Bruce) of Bakersville and Billy Blevins (Lois) of Bakersville; her sister-in-law Barbara Blevins; and her niece Melissa Blevins of Bakersville. She is also survived by mother should be, and leaves her family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Yancey Funeral Services (378 Charlie Brown Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
