He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roger Shepherd and Julia Banks Shepherd; his sisters, Ola Mae Shepherd and Mary Shepherd; his daughter Kyra Honeycutt; his fiancé Mickey Jarrett; his nephews, Levi Truett, Isaac Truett (Vignette), Gregory Shepherd Buchanan and Trevor Austin Rowlands IIII (Jessica); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Trevor Austin and Emmy Ruth; his nephew Caleb Buchanan (Avie); his nephew Taylor Street; his aunt Brenda Banks of Kentucky; his uncles, Logan Collins of Kentucky, Randy Banks (Ann) of Brevard and Vernon Shepherd (Della) of Ohio; his cousins, Kim Chandler (John), Gina Wesley and Treva Mathis (Bobby); and also, Mikey, Michael Jarrett, Brenna and Benjamin.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Email (501 E Main St, Burnsville, NC 28714). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
