She was predeceased by: her parents, Dove Adkins and Hester Adkins; her husband Charles E. Ray; and her sisters, Buela Adkins, Hazel Hensley, Eula Adkins and Glessie Miller.

She is survived by: her children, Sandy Ray Deyton (Donnie) of Knoxville, TN and Ricky Ray (Claudia) of Burnsville, NC; her grandchildren, Travis Deyton (Heather) of Knoxville, TN, Michael Ray (Ashley) of Kannapolis, NC, Matthew Ray and Tiffany Ray Alvino of Knoxville, TN; and her great grandchildren, Emory Deyton, Lennon Deyton, Jackson Alvino, Ella Ray and Will Bradley.
