She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Williams and Rosetta Edwards Williams; her husband Lee Whitson; and her brother R. C. Williams. She is survived by: her sons, David Lee Whitson (Melissa) of Green Mountain and Bryan K. Whitson of Candler; her granddaughters, Millicent Leigh McKinney (Cody) of Spruce Pine and Faith Noel Whitson of Asheville; her great grandchildren, Melodi, Kallie and Jackson; her brother Dr. Troy Williams (Jean) of Phoenix, AZ; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Williams and Shirley Hughes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
